Colours Caribbean is set to redefine our cultural views on gender and sexuality, stand up to political corruption and provide support and education to benefit those who are most vulnerable.

We need artists. We need musicians. We need writers. We need students. We need teachers. We need activists.

We need you.

Our members and volunteers meet regularly to organise events and develop programmes designed to promote visibility, provide education and encourage dialogue surrounding local and regional LGBTQIA+ issues.

Available Positions

Community Cultivator

Community Cultivators
Connect with others from all walks of life at local events or via Clubhouse, Discord and Facebook.

Are you charismatic, empathetic and energetic? Do you enjoy bringing people together and getting to know others? Do you identify as LGBTQIA+ or as an ally to the community?

If you answer “YES” to all of those questions then you might be a perfect fit for our “Social Circles” initiative.

Support Group Moderator

Support Group Moderators
Offer emotional support to those in need within our LGBTQIA+ community.

The “Colour Me Loved” initiative is an effort to educate teens, adolescents, teachers, parents and guardians on the sensitive subjects of gender identity, sexual orientation and mental health. Our workshops and support groups connect at-risk youth and those in need of emotional support to psychotherapists and counsellors who are accepting of, knowledgeable of and experienced in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and families.

Youth Coordinator

Youth Coordinators
Help coordinate events with our youth members, face-to-face as well as online.

The “Colours Youth Programme” aims to cultivate a bold and visibly strong community for the LGBTQIA+ Youth of the Caribbean and Latin America. We organise events, provide resources and develop other initiatives catered specifically to those of ages 13 through 24. We also coordinate directly with schools and universities for the facilitation of educational workshops and ally training.
